Sleep paralysis

One of the common occult themes in Japan is sleep paralysis accompanying the appearance of incorporeal beings. Stories and rumors abound where people unable to move a single muscle or even blink as ghostly apparitions of sad old men or women gaze down upon them, or even sit on top of them making it difficult to breathe.
Although, the word "sleep paralysis" doesn't have the same scary ring to it as the Japanese word kanashibari （金縛り）, or "metal-bound". (According to wikipedia, it seems to be a widespread theme across the world)

Well that got me thinking.
An old woman sitting on me isn't very exciting to be honest. But say if it were a ghost of more younger .... perhaps attractive appearance ... and perhaps it was a more friendly ... or sultry ghost... hey, then this sleep paralysis wouldn't be so bad at all. No sirree. heheheh....
