Testing a good workflow for translating things into English on a quickie 4-panel.

Not sure I've gotten the best way down yet.

I just realized the arrangement of the speech bubbles need to be reversed for it to make sense, like the 3rd panel.

English is rather lacking in onomatopoeia compared to Japanese (or one could say Japanese is abnormally plentiful in it) so the sound effects are going to be a challenge as well.

Trust me, there are plenty of SFX words to draw from in English. You can even make up your own.

The ones simply translated from jap to english work pretty well too. They really sound like the . . . sound.

English has more onomatopoeia than you could EVER shake a stick at. It's great because you can make up words that SOUND like sound effects. Remember old Batman tv-shows. They made up all sorts of words, like, "KABLOOIE!" Anyhow, instead of putting "Fay is scared", you could have ... *trembles* Where Krystal's eye turns black, you could have... *Twitch* like she's bottling her anger to remain composed at first.
