I still haven't figured out what animal Krystal really is.
Oh sure the official things says she's supposed to be a vixen ... but c'mon! Just look at her! Stunted muzzle and rounded tail! BLUE!

Wow, I keep saying that you draw the characters so distinctively! :D

As for what animal she is... well from what I remember, she IS supposed to be a vixen but being from another planet completely may explain the interesting traits. :XD:

Maybe.. Krystal is a whole different/original type of animal.. kind of like Red XIII from FF7 ;)

Fox's tail is the same way in the games, unless you mean how her tail appears in Brawl and in Assault in which case it was bounded.

Her stunted muzzle could just be the artists making the proportions smaller to appear more feminine.

I feel an "awwww" coming on. :aww:

Krystal's tail always bugged me.. even bound, it seems just sort of off. Then in Command it looked like it had been cropped!

As for the blue color... mutant maybe? Actually, where most females in the Starfox universe appear an odd color (re: Katt was originally pink, Amanda's pink, Lucy's pink/purple).. maybe most gals in Lylat die their fur? ;)

Hmm, dyed fur ... I never considered that.
But then again, it's sort of a moot point to demand common sense from a world with walking, talking, space-faring animals, I guess :XD:
